MT... Thanks for doing this! I would like to see better marking of items that are gluten free. For instance my son loves GF taquitos, but some brands it is difficult to tell if it actually is gf

Ooooh - Don't you just love Betty Crocker for recognizing GF living! I am thrilled even though there is nowhere local that carries these mixes yet.
I would love to find GF yeast doughnuts that were available to grab just like regular doughnuts. We miss doughnuts.
For you all that say pizza crust - try using regular Chebe, I like it almost better than any wheat based crust.

Great giveaway! Rather than a specific product, I'd rather see clear labeling of gluten-free products. Sometimes, it's hard to figure out what is okay.

Hey, this is GREAT to learn of these products. One of my good friends has celiac disease and she's given so much to me--clothes for my little guy, etc. I am going to get her some of these desserts as a treat. Also, I am researching more into GF lifestyle, because my older son most likely has Asperger's Syndrome. I'm still learning about how one's diet affects those on the autism spectrum.

I really enjoy your blog and am a long-time lurker. :) Thanks for keeping me informed.

Too bad this is awarded AFTER my son's birthday....I can't wait for this to hit the local grocery store. I guess with the incidence of celiac disease increasing all the major food companies have begun to pay attention!

sredrobin said...

I would love to find any of these items on the shelf at the store. I live in a small town and it is hard to find anything here. I have found the honey nut, corn and rice chex ceral. I have to drive 1 1/2 hours away to find anything good. I have gotten to try one cake mix and it was ok but I love chocolate chip cookies

Colleen said...

Been Gluten Free my whole life and these baking mixes seriously made my life when I saw them on the shelf in the grocery store. I immediately made the cookies (as was all I could afford at present), im in college....but they were soooooo delicious none of my friends could tell the difference between these and their glutenous ones!

Our stores only have a small section for gluten free products..I think the All natural section is bigger. I would like to see more products that are gluten free..specially the treats and such. We are trying gluten free with our second born (we have 4).

I already left a comment but I would love a GF pizza dough, because my Aspie son loves pizza. I'm just beginning the journey of researching food-->autism spectrum! I'm jazzed to give these GF desserts a try. I don't yet see them in my area. Are they in mainstream stores, like the A & P?
