Nearsighted Canines
Meet Lucky the Incredible Wonder Pup. This is Alex's toy robot-dog that he received as a gift from Grandma. Last night Alex put his prescription sunglasses onto Lucky, apparently he is nearsighted like Alex. The little dog next to him is Belle's Nintendogs puppy who fits quite well into overly loved (bent up) Mr. Potato head specs. Alex has never lacked in the areas of pretend play, he's one of the best pretend players that I know. Plus, I think the kid has an awesome sense of humor. Isn't this picture a hoot?

That is too funny--and so creative!
And in looking at it, I see a great OT opportunity for us---go find all the glasses and put them on stuffed animals. That would be challenging for us from fine motor/visual motor standpoint--but fun like a scavenger hunt.
Thanks for the inspiration!
