Family portrait: top row - Isabelle (yellow hair and pink 2 piece bathing suit), Alex (in green - favorite color wearing 'waterwings'), bottom row- Daddy (brown hair and trunks), and me (in purple wearing 2 piece bathing suit) This is our family portrait as drawn by my son Alex, age 7 with Autism. Alex loves to draw and "copy" images. He particularly loves to draw logos from videos and movies and only recently started drawing people. I love this picture he drew of our family that he did in school on the back of a "weather workbook" made in Extended School Year. The picture is of Summer '08 and our family. On sunny days we hang out with our neighbors a lot in their pool which Alex loves. The picture is of us in our bathing suits hanging out under the sun.

That house is *really* good!
I'm going to show it to Edward in hopes that he will draw something that resembles our family and our house. All I get are "bad guys" with these line "bullets." I'd like something like this that I can actually hang up, or send to a grandparent.
We are still in the 'rainbow' stage, rainbow, after rainbow, after rainbow. I suspect I'll miss them when he moves on to other things.
