Belle and the Giant Peach

After raining all day yesterday I wasn't sure what we would do today. But, the weather cleared up and so we headed out for some Peach and Nectarine picking at a local (well 30 minutes or so) Pick-Your-Own, Battleview Orchards. Belle loved trying to help carry the big heavy bucket and filled it about half full with some nectarines and some really great looking peaches. Yum!

One thing is for certain, I absolutely cherish our "time" that we have together just the 2 of us while Alex is in school. She'll be starting preschool in the fall and so I'll be even more of a taxi-driver. Gotta cherish these gorgeous moments while we can...

What beautiful pictures. I love one on one time with the kids. I'm embarassed to see, beyond pumpkin picking, we never make back to the farms. I really need.

I only just started blogging on blogger. Yahoo 360 I used for a while and stopped. We'll see how long I keep it up!!

Good to hear from you, hope all is well!

Oh you must must must go back to the farms with the girls! Right now and for most the summer there will be peaches/nectarines. In the fall, Apples. Strawberries were last month. Battleview has a $1 you pick card and then you pay per pound and it is pretty cheap ($1.29 a pound for the peaches). Silverton Farms in Toms River has all organics and is a little closer but the prices are also higher too.

Oh you sound like me on the blog then... I've blogged on livejournal, myspace, and 360. I started this last year and I only wrote like 20 times in the entire year.. if that. I'm trying to be better about it :)
