Help for NJ transplants

Ok.. so finally after almost 3 years of living in the state of New Jersey I got my Magellan.

I asked for one when I first moved here but at the time they were somewhere over $700 dollars or more. So, for Christmas I finally got one. Its the entry level one but its great. The funny this is that my kids seem to be enjoying it just as much as I do.

  1. My 6 year old son (who has PDD-NOS) is now announcing to me. "Lets go in the car, its time for Mommy's GPS".
  2. He seems to think that the data entry system for my Roadmate is no different than his Leapster game . I've heard him say something along the lines of: "Its time to sign in. Enter in your name in to the GPS".
  3. I wish I could say that I'm the one who successfully taught him the difference between going LEFT or going RIGHT. I have to credit the Magellan with this. He's also quite versed in KEEPING TO THE LEFT or making a SLIGHT RIGHT.
  4. Even my almost 2 year old daughter is learning from the magellan. She told me earlier that I needed to make a "LEFT TURD". Yes, the little princess said "Turd".
